A video game inspired by the Brothers Grimm's tale of the Pied Piper. In this setting, the Piper has lost his melody and must recover fragments of his sheet music from the farthest corners of Verdebrezza. From the city to the sewers, he battles rats blocking his path to the cathedral's peak. There, he can dream his melody, banish the rat plague, and save the townsfolk.

The game can be described as a metroidvania platformer with elements of the souls-like genre, combining exploration, combat, and platforming, all intertwined with storytelling, sharing only the setting with the Grimm Brothers' fairytale. The difficulty gradually increases, challenging the Piper with increasingly powerful enemies. However, he can upgrade his flute, unlocking new moves or mobility options to aid him on his journey.
The Piper awakens in the town’s inn, owned by the blacksmith. It has become a shelter for survivors of the rat attack, and it's where the near-dead protagonist was brought. The inn serves as the respawn point, where the Piper will wake up after being defeated, allowing the rats to reemerge and repopulate the streets of Verdebrezza during his slumber. The only progress that isn’t reset upon defeat are the flute power-ups and the shortcuts unlocked, enabling quicker access to certain areas of the map.

The map is built on 3 different layers:
The first area of the game begins with the inn, where the Piper respawns after each death. Here, players can spend the "rat teeth" earned by defeating enemies to acquire a new flute, unlocking power-ups.
